Search for Locations – Difficulties

Hi there,

I have a search box on the Home page which is configured for all posts (ST Single Search).
Then, in Traveler Settings > Search Options > Custom search form for all services, field type “Address”.

All locations appear OK (countries, cities…). But upon clicking Search, I can’t get to the selected location landing page. See pictures.

Instead, the “Search Blog” page is shown with the list of all the posts.

How can I display the landing page for the selected location?

The problem is you did not create result page template and config it in Theme settings section.

Thanks for helping with this. I created the result page template with the module “St All Post Type Search Results” and it works fine.

Question about the Result page template:
How can I display only selective posts on that page, for example, Tours + Activities + Rentals?

You can use this code to remove Hotel and Car service from search result all page:

Thanks for the css!

Rentals don’t seem to work according to location search.

I have an example Rental set up for Paris, but it is always present on the search result page, no matter which location you search for.

I have updated the Theme to the last version (Parent + Child) and now ALL Rentals are displayed.

If you can fix that, please let me know what you do, so I can apply the fix for any theme update.

Your fix was lost after Theme update.
Again, Rentals don’t work according to location search. Instead, all Rentals are always displayed.
